Multilayer platform to support the creation of the Patients’ Digital Twin
The mission is to create a shared and distributed platform that collects clinical data from patients—both in its raw form and in a pre-processed form—which can open new frontiers in medical research.
Spoke 2 brings together diverse multidisciplinary professional expertise with the goal of supporting the development of innovative AI solutions for data collection and analysis in healthcare.
The mission is to create a shared and distributed platform that collects clinical data from patients—both in its raw form and in a pre-processed form—which can open new frontiers in medical research.
The analysis of such data and the identification of clusters of patients who share similar physical parameters and clinical conditions may represent a step forward in understanding patients’ clinical response to certain treatments, thereby contributing to the development of new knowledge for the diagnosis and prevention of cancer, as well as for the assessment of risk and expected response to a treatment plan.
From this perspective, the creation of digital twins that are representative of a specific patient population can provide a digital research tool for conducting preventive analyses of treatments and suggesting new parameters for further stratifying patient cohorts.
